Scotland

Mon Aug 17, 2009, 1:24 PM
I am in Scotland at the moment. Traveling the world. Went to Vietnam and Cambodia last month and the month before that. Got some amazing shots there but don't have access to any programs to process the photos so they will just stay on the hard drive for a year! Probably won't be posting many images at all until the middle of next year.
Have taken some amazing photos of landmarks in vietnam and people in Cambodia. I can definitely advise these places as holiday destinations and would encourage people to take part in some kind of volunteer or eco tourism holiday as it's just so mindblowingly amazing to mingle with the locals.
Travelling is such an amazing learning experience.
Australia is so far away from the real world.
This is wonderful

Hiya Josie, sorry for not replying in so long...

You asked whether my sister was a hippy...right? Well...yeah she kinda is...not the funky daisy chain wearing ones who like to live in vans though...she's more like the environmental kind who hates all civilisation and walks around shoe-less all the time...

I remember your cat Casper...he was cool, I liked him :) I think I may have seen your chooks a few weeks ago...wandering around near the road near your house...

You got another job? Where is it now?

Goodluck saving up for your trip :D
:iconi-c-jo-c:
My chooks go everywhere!
They are so rude! They invade everywhere. I got a job at Capriccios 2 nights a week! What have you been up to? Any changes to life yet?
Saving is so boring!!

Aww, they ain't rude, they just wanna have fun. My chooks are the same, they usually end up in someone else's yard even though there's plenty of room in their own

Capriccios, that's the pizza place right? I'm getting art lessons from an old guy in town, he's teaching me cartooning stuff, it's fun.

Are you any closer to being able to afford your trip yet?

I love that pizza place...it's like the only pizza based resturaunt these days that actually knows how to make a pizza

I haven't been doing much. Good to hear that you're getting closer to leaving for your trip. It should be a lot of fun :)

Merry Christmas, Josie!! :D

Apparently we're supposed to celebrate "Santa's Birthday" today :unimpressed:

But uh anyways...here's an icon of Santa Clause to decorate this comment with the Christmas spirit: :santa:

Or if you don't beleive in Santa Clause, here's an icon of Mr. Boustead instead: :santa:

Happy and safe holidays :)

Sorry I haven't replied! I went to the Woodford Folk Festival and I've been working since! My Christmas was alright. How was yours?
What have you been up to?

That's okay :)

Woodford Folk Festival...? I think I've heard of that...what is it exactly?

Working?! That must suck...but at least you get money...do you work at Maple 3? Or did I hallucinate that...? :paranoid:

My Christmas was alright...although it was a little tense coz I've been having serious issues with my eldest brother for the past few months and then mum thought it would be funny to make me sit next to him at the lunch table :X But I suppose it could've been worse...

I haven't been up to anything very interesting, just the usual playing video games and raising chickens, we've got a rooster now :D
:iconi-c-jo-c:
It's an arty festival that lots of people go to, including a large hippy population. Haha, it goes for a week and alot of up and coming Australian musicians go there as well as comedians and artists and people speaking and stuff. There's lots of different venues for lots of different stuff and interests.

I work at maple 3. Money is great, that's generally why I work. I wouldn't be able to go overseas if I didn't!

Your life sounds pretty cruisy. Nice, is it an evil rooster?

A large hippy population attends that festival? Wow, someone should've told my sister, sounds like a place she belongs in lol. Did you perform at all at the festival? You were awesome performing at grad, on that errr...ukulele...is that how you spell it?

Have you got enough money yet to go on your trip?

Cruisy? Pretty lazy is more like it :D

Nah, my rooster's a good boy...well...most of the time. We got him and three other hens when they were all just chicks so they're all really friendly. Apparently we saved them from the meat factory...they came from a daycare centre that had bought them especially for Easter but then they didn't want them anymore so uh...yeah...:paranoid:...but they're cool, despite having strange habits...Sousuke jumps on your back whenever you bend over, Yumi tries to eat your clothes, Vikki won't come near you unless you bear hug her first...and then she won't leave you alone...and Gin stands a few feet away eyeing you and following you about, making sure you don't harm his 8 girlfriends...if a stranger comes up our driveway he makes his crowing noise, like how a dog barks :D

Do you still have your cats?
